With 3.5 square miles, roughly 7,500 full-timers, and four ski areas on a single pass, Aspen Snowmass is small enough that everyone knows your dog’s name. It's rarefied enough that your gongola-mate is likely to be one of over 200 billionaires, a nobel-lauriate physicist, or the Aspen Middle School principal. Many homes in Aspen never even touch the MLS — they change hands over dinner, between brokers with their ear to the ground whose clients trust them.
